It’s not really a debate since what you eat and how much you eat is responsible for about 70% of how you look. But don’t let this fool you or make you think that you can get away without exercises. Working on your fitness is vitally important to your health and it works together with your nutrition.
Here is what I am talking about…
If you are like most women, you have a goal of burning fat and slimming down your size. So to do this, you need to build lean muscle mass through your workout routines. This increases your metabolism which is what you are going for. However, to really shrink your size down, you need to then go through about two to four weeks of a small calories deficient diet.
If you then eat about 200 to 280 calories a day less than you burn, you will find that your body destroys it’s fat stores incredibly fast. You can’t keep this up forever and you’ll eventually need to add more calories to your diet to keep your muscle mass healthy. But you will be surprised at how much slimmer and firmer your body is.
So remember that your body and what you are eating work closely together. It’s not just what you eat but your portion size as well.
